Driver Notes: Had a good draw for the heat that put us on the pole for the heat and took off from the green flag and got the win. The redraw put us starting 5th in the feature. Got to second place early but after a couple yellow flags I faded back to 5th. We made some adjustments before the feature and I think it hurt us the longer the race went on. Car was just to tight.
Crew Notes: We made a last minute adjustment on the car before he went out and the car got really tight in 1 and 2. The track really changed he said after the restart so it was not a bad night but we are always wanting to have a better finish.

4/21/2024 - The BULLRING, Vinton, IA (Pro Late Model Season Opener)
Results: Heat - Started 6th, finished 2nd / Feature - Started 4th, finished 2nd.
Driver Notes: We started 6th in the heat race and got to second coming out of the 1st corner. We made a bid for the lead once but settled for second. In the feature we started 4th and had a good battle with Nick Marolf for a few laps then ended up racing my way to second after a late caution. All in all it was a good first night of the season.
Crew Notes: Working on the car and found that we bent an upper a-frame hemi and it stuck the left side suspension and wouldn't even move. It also spun the upper a-arm mount so we had a ton of caster in the front and the toe was off. We still didn't do to bad.
4/14/2024 - Mason City Speedway, Mason City IA
The boys are practicing tonight in Mason City. Time to shake things out on the 00J in preparation for the season opener on April 21st.
"Practice went really good. I think we made it out for 5 sessions and all but the third session went really well. Definitely had to knock the dust off the driver but after a few laps I was back into the groove. Really excited for this year!" - JD
